    • How To Install Window Blinds And Shutters

      General Instructions:

      1.INSTALL MOUNTING BRACKET
Whether your window treatments are inside or outside the mount, mounting brackets go up first. This requires a few screws, a level and measuring tape (to make sure your brackets are in line) and may also require some pre-drilling depending on your window frame.

      2.INSTALL BLINDS & SHADES
The window treatment is placed into the mounted brackets.

      3.INSTALL VALANCE*
Many window treatments have valances which simply click simply into place

*A popular decorative choice that covers the uppermost part of the window concealing drapery hardware

      IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION:
Wallboard or Plaster: use anchors specifically designed for hollow walls (not included).

Concrete, Stone, Brick: use a masonry drill bit and anchors or screws specifically designed for masonry (not included)

      Roller Blinds

      Inside Mount Fit

      STEP 1
Drill the necessary holes and insert wall plugs (recommended 5.5mm drill bits for 6mm wall plugs). Insert the screw through bracket fixing hole and tighten firmly.

      STEP 2
For recess fit, install brackets on either side of window. Mark and install brackets apart with respect to the total width size of the roller blind order. Insert the roller blind ends into the bracket slots with the fabric positioned behind the roll.

      STEP 3
Two chain connectors are applied on the control chain as a roller drop control stopper. This is to control the level of the drop above the window sill (i.e. +-10mm) or to just below the roller head tail when rolled up or down.

      Outside Mount Fit

      STEP 1
Two chain connectors are applied on the control chain as a roller drop control stopper. This is to control the level of the drop above the window sill (i.e. +-10mm) or to just below the roller head tail when rolled up or down.

      STEP 2
Align the front of the shade with the front edge of the window opening (or position as desired), making sure that the shade is centered in the window opening

      STEP 3
Push up on the head rail so that the screw heads leave tiny impressions in the top of the window frame.

      STEP 4
Use the impressions as a guide and pre-drill the mounting holes using a 2mm drill bit – then screw the shade in place.
